The Forge of Roses

Revealing beauty in human creations

The Forge of Roses is the metalwork and manufacturing workshop of the Forest of the Wild Children. It is both a practical and poetic space, where metal and other materials are worked with precision and imagination.

Here, works of art and bespoke pieces are created: gates, signs, symbolic objects, furniture and sculptures.

Each creation is unique, handcrafted to reflect the desired shapes and stories they convey.

The Forge is a meeting place for the ancient craft of blacksmithing, the passion of gardening, the ingenuity of the maker and the indomitable presence of the forest.

Flowers and Other Metamorphoses 
The Forge of Roses takes its name from its speciality: the free and detailed reproduction of iron flowers, chiselled leaves, snakes, mushrooms — each piece is a study of living things, translated into fire.

Scenographic Objects 
We design scenic objects to enhance street and fire arts. These creations combine robustness and lightness: they vibrate under the flames and blossom in urban spaces, responding precisely to the artist's technical requirements.

The Peasant Innovation Workshop 
The Forge of Roses is a space for innovation, where agroforestry meets craftsmanship. It plays an essential role
in optimising plant infrastructure and tools by designing and manufacturing equipment tailored to the needs of gardeners.

CONSTRUCTION SITE

A collaboration between the sounds of percussion instruments, electronic music and the metallurgical industry.

Jérome Lefèvre’s metallurgical work sets the scene for the sounds of construction. Welding, cutting, grinding, hammering… a creative process that becomes part of the performance, and materializes in metal objects; objects that become instruments when they are added to the instrumental set played by Andrés Navarro during the performance. Rotterdam-based sound designer Javi Herrero will add an extra dimension to the performance with his live electronics.
