The School of the Wild Children

A place that teaches, heals, and connects.

The School of the Wild Children is a unique learning environment, open to all without distinction. Here, children grow up in harmony with nature, developing independence, sensitivity, and discipline. Here, the school is not limited to four walls: it extends into the woods, along the riverbank, and into the heart of the meadow.

At its center is an inter-species meeting circle, a place for experimenting with respectful and sensitive communication with the animal and plant world. We play with the rain, smell the colors, and breathe in the sun. We learn to think differently about the human and non-human community.

We reject pre-determined paths, rigid dogmas, and imposed truths. We seek light in the shadows, beauty in the folds of the world, possibilities in the cracks.

We are not content to simply receive knowledge: we glean it, we compose it, we invent it. A wild child is not captive: they learn out of a love of life.

We explore the constellations of the sky and those of the earth with joyful insolence and fierce curiosity.

Pedagogy
The sensory world around us and the beauty of the place are the two cornerstones of our pedagogy. It is based neither on fear, nor on punishment, nor on authority, but on personal responsibility towards our surroundings.

The Art of Connections & Disagreements
The Art of Connections and Disagreements is a way of relating to others, a communication tool, an educational framework, and the living rules of the place and the school. It forms the basis of how we live, learn, work, make decisions, and coexist with each other and with the natural world.

The Observatories

Several themed observatories invite visitors to encounter biodiversity. There are areas dedicated to butterflies, mushrooms, stars, and more.

The Fun Trails
Our trails are dotted with games, music, and sports activities. They transform walking into an adventure. These trails offer a joyful and dynamic way to explore nature without destroying it.
